ARC Prayer Meeting

This Wednesday night prayer meeting at the American Reformation Church will be a little different this week. Though the location is the same and the prayer focus remains, this service will be led by our elder, Frank Campana. My lovely bride, Kendra and I, will be going away to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. On June 12th, I’ll be turning 68. Who would have thunk it?

I could remember growing up on the mean streets of Bridgeport, CT and running with the gangs thinking I would never see the year 2000. I thought I was destined to die young, but God had other plans. Now that I’m closing in on 70 and being weakened in the way, the demand to minister seems to have increased. It appears the Lord will get every drop of devotion out of my fleeting life and to that prospect; I give Him praise and thanksgiving. It is my burning desire to end well for our Lord. God help me!

Regardless of who is there at the prayer meeting or who is leading the charge, it is good that the saints come together and continue to partner with God in prayer to see His Kingdom come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We have come to a place in this weekly practice of prayer that we have to set aside time to thank Him. He has answered so many prayers already as our young church plant continues to grow and display the splendor of the Lord.

We have a good problem. We are outgrowing our current location and need a larger facility for our church. We are needing a baby room large enough to care for 17 babies with 4 on the way, an office to record Kingdom Moments with Rusty Thomas, a school office for the Kingdom Leadership Institute, a food pantry to stock supplies, (We gave away 20 care packages last week to help single moms and their children) a storage room for Bibles, Christian literature, signs, and sound systems for our outreach teams and missionary work.

We would appreciate your partnership with us as we seek the Lord to advance His Kingdom through dedicated times of prayer, faithful preaching of God’s Word, mercy ministries, evangelistic ministries, and mission to the magistrates. To God be the glory!
