The Rise of Evil and the Hope of the Gospel

There is a theme in Scripture that establishes a truth that traverses both the Old and New Testaments.

There are temporal struggles followed by historical victories.

The battle started in the heavens, came to earth at the Garden of Eden, ripped through the pages of Holy Writ, and is manifesting in our day. Through it all, God has brought His church from terror to triumph. The Lord changes not and He is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

In this episode, we discuss that God does not hide the fact that darkness covers the earth and gross darkness the people. Yet, in the midst of that reality God declares, “Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you” (Isaiah 60:1).

This episode provides a living hope in the midst of the rise of evil in this crooked and perverse generation.
