ARC Prayer Meeting:
What a weekend for our family and church family. Our family and church launched one of our arrows to hit the bull’s eye for her life. Our family gave our daughter, Sophia, in marriage to Sterling Marcantel this past Saturday. We tied a tight not and the precious couple is on honeymoon. We want to extend special thanks to all who rolled up their sleeves and worked hard to bless this new household that will prayerfully raise a Kingdom family in the Lord.
The next day American Reformation Church held our first worship service at our new location. We moved from Promise Land to God’s Way. Literally, our new address is 3492 God’s Way, Melbourne, FL 32904. We enjoyed an overflow of guests who were in town celebrating with us the marriage of Sterling and Sophia.
We thought it proper and fitting to have our first service at our new location to be a consecration service. We set apart the pulpit, the new location, our church, and OSA for God’s glory and impactful Kingdom service. It was special and again thanks to all who worked so hard to get this service set up, broken down, the premises cleaned, and everything placed back in order. A good kingdom principle is always leave a place much better than the way you found it.
The word consecration means to be set apart. It is dedicating oneself, one's possessions, and one's life to God. It is seeking to live a life pleasing to Him and dedicated to serving His purposes.
First, we consecrated the pulpit to speak the truth in love. As God grants us the ability to perceive the truth of Scripture, we will be faithful that to deliver it. We prayed that none would purposely mislead or misrepresent God’s Word to do harm to the souls entrusted to our care. God forbid!
Second, we consecrated this new location to facilitate the vision and mission of ARC and see it continually spread locally and abroad.
Third, utilizing the Lord’s Supper and family covenant meal, we consecrated all our church members afresh and anew to the Lord and our vision and mission.
Lastly, our church consecrated ourselves to be a faithful covering and sending church to support Operation Save America. It is a high honor and serious responsibility before the Lord.
