A Bittersweet Blessing with Past. Derin Stidd

Pastor Derin Stidd is back with me and as always, bringing good conversation and discussion about the Lord and a life of ministry.

It is important to carve out time to remember and recall the exploits of the heroes of faith.

This past week found us attending the funeral of one of my fellow servant and friend, John Barros at the breathtaking campus of St. Andrew’s Church. We left with awe and wonder due to the conduction of this funeral. From the elegance of the architecture and details of the church to the hymns that were sung along with the magnificent organ, it truly was a moving experience. We are so thankful to have been a part of this time glorifying God and celebrating the life of our dear friend.

In this episode, we discuss John Barros’s life and his legacy of faith and passion for life, especially for the unborn. He influenced churches to pick up the cause of ending abortion and recruited a lot of good soldiers for Christ, R.C. Sproul being one of them.

John Barros lived a life of faithfulness and we want to take the time to give him honor and remembrance.
